On July 20, SDFC. Corcoran was patrolling the Great Mills Road area of Lexington Park, when he observed a purple Chevrolet Cavalier. SDFC. Corcoran had a case about a month ago involving a drunk driver operating a vehicle which was the same make, model, color and had stolen tags displayed.
SDFC. Corcoran investigated the vehicle and ran a registration check on the tags displayed. SDFC. Corcoran observed the operator of the vehicle. The tags were listed as stolen on March 25, from Rockville.
SDFC. Corcoran contacted the operator of the vehicle, Raymond Anthony Barnes, Jr., 32 of Hollywood, and arrested him for theft.
