LEXINGTON PARK, MD – On Nov. 27 at 3:31 p.m., authorities in St. Mary’s County reported of a motor vehicle crash with fire on Three Notch Road in the area of Evergreen Park of Lexington Park. According to authorities, for unknown reasons a red Jeep left the roadway and struck a utility pole, which started a brush fire. An abandoned vehicle in the woods also caught fire. One motorist was transported to the hospital as a result of the crash. A report on the incident is pending.
