At 10:58 p.m. Feb. 13, Trooper Evans initiated a traffic stop on northbound Route 235, south of Route 245 in Hollywood.
Contact was made with the driver, Joseph Albert Baker, Jr., 18, of Lusby and a strong odor of burnt marijuana was emitting from the vehicle.
During the course of the traffic stop the driver, Baker and the two passengers, David Andrew Spears, 19, of Hollywood and Keith Sebastian Brown, 18, of Lexington Park were found to be in possession of seven small bags of Cocaine and a partially burnt Marijuana cigar.
All three subjects were charged with Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Marijuana. Baker was also charged with Driving Without a License.
They were transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where they were detained pending a bond review.
