PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. — The Calvert County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect accused of stealing a shopping cart full of merchandise from the Weis grocery store in Prince Frederick.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the Weis located at 750 N. Prince Frederick Blvd. at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 22, 2026, for a reported theft.
Investigators said the suspect entered the store, filled a shopping cart with merchandise, and then exited the business without paying, passing all points of sale before leaving the property.
The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities are asking anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information about the theft to contact the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office at 410-535-2800 and reference case number 26-63277.

We pay police to police, they don’t do it for free why would I? I don’t buy the whole “we pay higher prices crap” all this stuff comes from overseas child/slave labor anyway it’s pure profit they just just choose not to dip into profit or upgrade security, or anti theft systems and just upcharge good people that they know will pay, and you want to support this……no thanks
