DEATH INVESTIGATION: On Saturday, April 9 at 5:20 p.m., Charles County Sheriff’s Officers responded to the area of Old Washington Road near Sub Station Road in Waldorf for the report of a pedestrian struck by a train. A preliminary investigation revealed D’Angelo Darzell Harris, 22, of no fixed address, was struck by a CSX train; he was pronounced dead on the scene. Investigators say there is no evidence of foul play and it is not clear why Harris was on the train tracks. Anyone with information is asked to call Det. A Schwab at (301) 609-6474.
