LA PLATA, Md. — The Charles County Chamber of Commerce invites members of the business community, local leaders, and residents to attend the 2025 Winter Legislative Reception on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at The Space by LBI Collective, 2901 Festival Way, Waldorf, MD 20601.

This event offers a unique opportunity for attendees to engage directly with Maryland’s elected officials, gain insights into upcoming legislation, and discuss key issues that impact the local business community.

The morning will begin with a continental breakfast and networking session from 8:00 to 9:00 AM, followed by a State Delegation Panel and Q&A from 9:00 to 10:00 AM, and continued networking with legislators and attendees from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

“The Winter Legislative Reception is one of the Chamber’s cornerstone advocacy events,” said Kathy Guzman, President & CEO of the Charles County Chamber of Commerce. “It’s a platform for the business community to stay informed, share their perspectives, and strengthen collaboration with our state and county legislators as we prepare for the 2026 session.”
