THEFT: On Jan. 20 at 5:20 a.m., officers responded to the 4000 block of Tahoe Place in White Plains for the report of a theft. Upon arrival, officers discovered unknown suspect(s) broke into a locked vehicle and stole the stereo and cash. The suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction. PFC S. Hawkins is investigating.
THEFT: Sometime between Jan. 17 and Jan. 18, unknown suspects cut a hole in a metal fence surrounding a business in the 8200 block of Crain Highway in Waldorf. Investigation revealed the suspect(s) stole several rims and tires and fled the scene. Officer C. Chamblee is investigating.
BURGLARY SUSPECTS ARRESTED:ย Sometime between 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Jan. 16, two male suspects wearing ski masks entered a residence in the 5200 block of Vaughan Court in Waldorf. The suspects were confronted by someone in the residence and fled the scene. Further investigation led to the identification of the suspects, both who are 17-years-old. The suspects were apprehended and charged with burglary.
BURGLARY: On Jan. 16 at 10:58 a.m., Officer S. Hooper was conducting surveillance near the area of Hintze Place in Waldorf when he observed three males exit their vehicle and enter unoccupied trailers. The suspects walked out with various pieces of metal and other items. Investigation revealed they did not have permission from the owner to enter or remove the property. Christopher Richard Owens, 44, of Newburg, Erik Schroeter, 47, of Waldorf and Justin Darin Frederick, 27, of Waldorf were arrested and charged with theft, trespassing and fourth-degree burglary.
SHOPLIFTING ARREST: On Jan. 16 at 6:21 p.m., officers responded to a department store on Mall Circle for the report of a shoplifting in progress. Investigation revealed the suspect stole numerous items and fled to her car. Officer R. McMullen attempted to stop the vehicle, but the suspect fled, striking a vehicle as she attempted to escape. After a brief pursuit, Corrine Elize Flowers, 34, of Oklahoma City, was apprehended. Flowers was arrested and charged with theft and multiple traffic charges.
BREAKING AND ENTERING: On Jan. 15 at 7:10 p.m., officers responded to a residence in the 3100 block of Knolewater Court in Waldorf for the report of a breaking and entering in progress. Upon arrival, officers learned that the victim heard a noise coming from an upstairs bedroom and as she entered the room she observed a hand through a partially opened window. The suspect fled after the victim screamed. Further investigation revealed several cut screens to the rear of the residence. Officer C. Garner is investigating.
