The following Charles County Government offices will be closed for Independence Day:
The offices of Charles County Government, the Tri-County Animal Shelter in Hughesville, MD, the Charles County Landfill and Composting Facility off Billingsley Road in Waldorf, and the Pisgah Recycling Center on Route 425 in Pisgah will be closed on Friday, July 4, 2008, in observance of the Independence Day holiday.
Curbside recycling collection will be affected by the holiday. Those receiving Friday collection service on the “A” schedule will have their recyclables picked up on Saturday, July 5.
