The first meeting of the Charles County Redistricting Board is scheduled for Wednesday, July 13, at 7:00 p.m. in the Commissioners Meeting Room at the Charles County Government Building (200 Baltimore Street, La Plata).
The charge of the Redistricting Board is to review the County Commissioner district boundaries along with new population figures from Census 2010 to determine if any changes should be made to the existing County Commissioner districts.
Future meeting notices will be on the Boards, Committees & Commissions Bulletin Board located in the Charles County Government building atrium, as well as online at www.charlescounty.org.
