CHARLOTTE HALL, Md. – Shasho Consulting P.A. Commercial Real Estate announced earlier this week that original plans have been altered and the future Starbucks will be moving over to Charlotte Hall Center, the previous location of the farmers market.

The popular coffeehouse chain will be directly next to the new Chick-fil-A and Aldi Market that are also being built on Three Notch Rd.

The Starbucks will occupy a space of 1,145 square feet with five parking spaces, according to the most recently updated layout that was submitted to the Planning Commission. The previous location site had plans for a drive-thru however there is no drive-thru lane shown at the new Starbucks location next to the Chick-fil-A.

We will continue to provide updates as they become available.

    1. Actually, there is. I hate going down to California to get Starbucks. I find it humorous that they now won’t have a drive through and only 5 parking spaces. I mean, this county loves huge parking lots right?

  1. We moved back to MD three years ago settling in Mechanisville. Being retired we love living in St. Mary’s Co. I am glad to see some development but don’t want it to get out of hand. I shop at Aldis a lot and sometimes Starbucks. I wish that they could have found another place for the market to re-locate. We go to California for good sit down restaurants, which we need in this area and no more fast food. But I suspect those restaurants feel there isn’t a market here. Plus, people here are loyal to the old establishments. Small growth is not a bad thing.
