A wild group of fans traveled to Rams Head Live on Saturday night to see one of the most fun rock bands in history, as Cheap Trick performed to the delight of a sold out house. Musically they showed no signs of age, playing a number of tunes from their new CD called “The Latest” as well as fan favorites like “Dream Police,” “I want You To Want Me” and “Surrender.”
Robin Zander, Bun E. Carlos and Rik Nielsen put on a great show for all in attendance and it was Zander’s birthday. As the crowd cheerily sang “Happy Birthday” to him, his 9 year old daughter presented him with a cake onstage.
Baynet Radio sent a number of prize winners to the show and they all had a wild and memorable night. Thanks to the staff at Rams Head Live including Marketing Director Sarah Sample who showed everyone an awesome time.
Friday night, a group of station winners told us that they had a great time watching the Metal BeeGees cover band, Tragedy and the female version of Metallica (Misstallica) jam all night.
