Huntingtown, MD – A 5-year-old female who fell into a well Saturday evening, Aug. 25 was flown to Children’s Hospital where she was treated and released. A full report on the incident by Calvert County authorities is pending.
UPDATE 8:36 p.m.
Huntingtown, MD – A child who fell in a well earlier this evening outside a Calvert County residence is being stabilized by responders and is being prepped to be flown to a regional trauma center. Reports from the scene indicate crews are checking the child for hypothermia.
UPDATE 8:05 p.m.
Huntingtown, MD – At 8:04 p.m. Calvert authorities reported the small child has been rescued from the well. It is not certain at this time whether the child will be flown to a regional hospital. The incident occurred at a residence on Plum Point Road.
Huntingtown, MD- Shortly after 7:30 p.m. Calvert County authorities reported a 5-year old female had fallen down a well. Reports from the scene indicated the child is alert. The estimated depth is about 40 feet.
A helicopter is being dispatched to the area for transport.
