
WALDORF, Md. — The Shops at Waldorf Center has grown into a true community hub, hosting everything from kidpreneur competitions to outdoor festivals. This weekend the fun continues on Saturday, Sept. 6, when classic cars cruise in to kick off the next stretch of community events.
The Classic Car Show, co-hosted with DMV Rods & Classics Car Club, returns on Saturday, Sept. 6, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Expect food vendors, live music, raffles and 100 trophies awarded across vintage and custom categories. The show is open to all vehicles for a $25 entry fee, and spectator admission is free. Rain date: Sept. 13.

Engines will rev again on Saturday, Oct. 18, from noon to 6 p.m., when the lot transforms into a second showcase of gleaming classics and community camaraderie.
Families can also enjoy entertainment beyond the blacktop. Summer Sunset Cinema: “The Garfield Movie” on Saturday, Sept. 13, brings an outdoor film night under the stars. Gates open at 6 p.m., with the movie beginning at dusk. Guests are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets. Rain date: Sept. 20.
Seasonal thrills arrive with the Spooky Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 18, from 2 p.m. until sunset, featuring costumes, kids’ activities and autumn fun.
Whether it’s kidpreneurs sharing big ideas, car lovers showing off their classics, families enjoying a movie night or neighbors gathering for fall and holiday fun, The Shops at Waldorf Center brings the community together all year long.
