Schools
All St. Maryโs County Public Schools will be closed for today. There will be no Non-Public School Transportation.
All St. Mary’s County Public Schools are closed for Tuesday, Jan. 27, with a Code 2 for employees. Code 2 means that 10 and 11 month employees do not report to work. 12 month employees report to work up to two hours late but no later than 9:20 a.m. Liberal leave is in effect. All 12 month employees normally beginning their day after 9:20 a.m. are to report to work on time. Designated emergency personnel will report to work on time.
Other
All Recreation and Parks Before and After Care programs operating in the public schools arecancelled for today.
All six Convenience Centers and St. Andrewโs Landfill will open on time. St. Maryโs transit
System (STS) buses will operate on their normal schedules.
All Recreation and Parks School Age Care Before programs operating in public schools and at Hollywood Recreation Center will be opening on a 2 hour delay. Recreation & Parks programs and Recreation Centers will open at 10:00am. Any program that is scheduled with a scheduled start time prior to 10:00 a.m. is cancelled. This includes the Leonard Hall, Margaret Brent, Carver and Hollywood Recreation Centers, Chancellor’s Run & the Great Mills Swimming Pool. The Gymnastics Center will open at 9:30am for classes. All Senior Activity Centers will open two hours late and there will be no home delivered meals. However, meals will be served in the centers. St. Maryโs County Circuit Court will open on time.
College of Southern Maryland
All CSM locations will delay opening until 11:30 am on Tuesday Jan. 27 due to weather.
Calvert County
Schools
CCPS Child care at DES, CES, SES will open at 7:30 am.
The CAESS professional development sessions scheduled for PHS are cancelled. CAESS employees should report to their normal work site.
There will be a 2 hour delay for 10 and 11 month staff.
Twelve month staff may report up to one hour late. Emergency personnel report on time.
Professional development sessions will be run from 10:00 am โ 3:30 pm.ย ย Sessions that are scheduled to begin and end prior to 10:00 am will be cancelled.ย
Grade 1 and 2 online social studies session is cancelled.

Schools
Due to inclement weather conditions, all Charles County public schools are closed on Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015. There is a code two, which is a two-hour delay, for staff who follow the code system. Liberal leave is also in effect for staff.
VanGO
On Tuesday, Jan. 27 all VanGO services, including dialysis, will operate on a two-hour delayed schedule. All MTA commuter bus services are also operating on a two-hour delay. For information, call the VanGO inclement weather hotline at 301-934-9305, ext.ย 5179.
Government
Due to inclement weather, Charles County Government will open at 10 a.m. today, Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015, with the liberal leave policy in effect for all non-essential employees. Essential personnel and employees required to maintain operations during inclement weather are to report to work as scheduled.
The Commissionersโ meeting agenda will start with the 10 a.m. agenda item, and prior Commissioner meeting items will be rescheduled.
