Michael A. Aikens
Leonardtown,MD— On Jan.27, members of the St.Mary’s County Sheriff’s County Sheriff’s and Vice Narcotics Division executed a search and seizure warrant on Michael A. Aikens, 24, Leonardtown.
A search of his body revealed nearly $1,000 worth of cocaine secreted on his person as well as more than $375.00 in cash.
According to charging documents, “The defendant was found to be in possession of a quantity of cocaine, and a digital scale.”
Suspect Aikens was arrested, and additional charges are pending a review with State’s Attorney Richard D. Fritz.
Aikens at this time does not have a scheduled court date. Aikens faces a maximum jail sentence of four years and or a maximum fine of $26,000.
The investigating officer who prepared the charging documents, in this case, was Dfc.Kevin Meyer of the St.Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office.
