
WALDORF, Md. – Get ready for the new school year with Commissioner Amanda M. Stewart, Ed.D. (District 3) at her 11th annual “Back-to-School” Community Fiesta on Saturday, Aug. 9, beginning at 10 a.m. in the parking lot of the future location of the Waldorf Sports and Wellness Complex parking lot (11170 Mall Circle, Waldorf, MD 20603).
Pre-K through 12th-grade students who attend a Charles County school will receive a backpack filled with back-to-school materials while supplies last.
This is a drive-through distribution event only; pre-registration is not required. Children must be present and accompanied by a parent/guardian to receive a backpack. Proof of Charles County residency for the student is required, and acceptable forms of identification include last year’s report card, a student ID, or a ParentVue account.
