The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office reported Saturday, Sept. 14 that the Great Mills Road members of the COPs Unit conducted surveillance on a suspected prostitute on Great Mills Road. The officers observed a male pull up next to her and initiate in conversation. The female then walked into the Checkers Restaurant parking lot and sat in the front seat after the car parked. The pair was then observed engaging in a sexual act. They were detained and identified as Sherry Lynn King, 38 and an unidentified male who is being charged via criminal summons.
