The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office received complaints of illegal drug and drug paraphernalia sales at a Callaway store known as the “Corner Store”. An investigation led to the execution of a Search and Seizure Warrant. It was revealed that the owner and his employee were selling “K-2” synthetic marijuana, marijuana and crack cocaine smoking devices, digital scales, drug packaging material among other drug related items. Nearly 200 grams of synthetic marijuana was recovered and over 210 smoking devices. Approximately $4,500.00 worth of illegal product was seized. Charges are pending a review with State’s Attorney Richard D. Fritz.
