The Board of County Commissioners for St. Maryโ€™s County has approved an extension to approvals for development projects. This action is a response to economic times and will help current projects continue to completion before the approval expires. It will affect commercial and subdivision projects both large and small.

โ€œThis decision will help our citizens and came about in response to a request from individuals and the Chamber of Commerce,โ€ explained County Commissioner President Jack Russell. The amendment had been approved by the St. Maryโ€™s County Planning Commission earlier.
