Closure Confirmed, Future Unclear

The BayNet visited the location today, April 20, and spoke with a manager on-site, who confirmed the closure but said she could not provide details on why the café is shutting down.

However, the manager indicated the closure may not be permanent in the long term, noting the business is expected to reopen.

A Familiar Local Spot

The Panera Bread location has served the California community for years, having been established prior to October 2015. Known for its café-style atmosphere, the restaurant became a go-to destination for casual meetings, study sessions and quick meals.

Its presence along Worth Avenue made it a convenient and recognizable stop for residents and commuters alike.
