Vice Narcotics Detectives began an investigation into the distribution of crack cocaine related to a residence off Lucca Way in Lexington Park. The suspect was identified as 25-year-old Vashon Lamar Hayden.
A search and seizure warrant was obtained for the residence and suspect Hayden’s body.
Cocaine was recovered from the suspect’s person and prescription medication was recovered from the home.
Hayden was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine.
Additional charges are expected against Hayden and a second suspect, pending a State’s Attorney’s Office review.
