
LEXINGTON PARK, Md. — A fleeing driver was arrested Monday morning after a crash at a Lexington Park intersection, according to authorities.
Around 10 a.m. on Jan. 5, 2025, police and emergency personnel arrived at the scene to find a t-bone collision with two occupants possibly injured.
One driver got out and attempted to run from the scene but was apprehended moments later by deputies.
Emergency crews responded and checked two patients on the scene. Neither required transport, and both declined medical care at the scene.
The suspect was arrested following the incident, and the case remains under investigation by the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office.
