Huntingtown, MD – On Sunday, May 3 at approximately 2:20 p.m., there was a report of woods on fire in the area of 620 Walton Road.
As units arrived on the scene they found approximately 4 to 5 acres that had burned at the end of Jessie Jo Lane.
Additional brush trucks and tankers were requested by the officer in charge.
Walton Road was closed for a few hours at the 550 block because of fire equipment.
