WALDORF, Md. – On Wednesday, Jan. 23 just before 4:00 p.m., crews responded to reports of a house fire on the 10500 block of Vera Davis Lane, Waldorf.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a one-story home with a fire caused by a malfunctioning furnace. Twenty-five firefighters worked quickly and had the fire under control within five minutes. Officials say the fire caused approximately $10,000 worth of structure damage.
No injuries were reported during this incident.
