Update from the Prince Frederick Volunteer Fire Department
On December 26, 2018, PFVFD was alerted to a fire inside a home in the 700 block of Willow Way.
Crews arrived to find a small fire in a garage turned into a living space. The fire was contained to the heater area, surrounding walls and homeowner contents. The house sustained smoke damage throughout.
Engine 21 was able to knock the fire down quickly and Safety 2 Mike Sharpe scaled the incoming unit response back.
PFVFD would like to thank Solomons Volunteer Fire department for allowing us to borrow their truck to operate on this call while Tower 2 is out of service.
PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. – On Wednesday, December 26 firefighters were sent to Willow Way near Foxtail Lane in Prince Frederick for the report of a house fire.
According to scanner activity, units arrived and discovered a single-story home with fire coming from the rear of an attached garage.
Since the initial call, the fire has been reported extinguished. No injuries were reported during the incident.
