UPDATE – 10:30 p.m.
Charles County Sheriff’s Office reports Donald Theyer has been found and is safe.
Cobb Island, MD – Charles County Sheriff’s officers are seeking the public’s help in locating Donald Moore Theyer, 83, of Cobb Island.
Theyer left his home this morning at about 9:15 a.m. and indicated he was going to drive to a marina in Solomon’s Island. It does not appear he made it to the marina and he has not returned home.
Theyer may be driving a 2006 bronze or champagne-colored Jeep Commander with Maryland tags 513-M006. He was last seen wearing a gray vest and blue jeans.
Family members believe Theyer might be lost. A Silver Alert has been issued and officers are canvassing the surrounding areas.
Anyone who has knowledge of Theyer’s whereabouts is asked to all 911 or 301-932-2222.
