On Nov. 26, Deputy Robert Nielsen responded to the parking lot of Kmart in California for a fight in progress.
Upon arrival, Deputy Nielsen spoke with the victim who reported being assaulted by his wife, Crystal D. Knott-Fenwick, 28 of California. The victim had arrived in the parking lot with his son who the suspect attempted to retrieve. When the victim refused to allow Crystal Knott-Fenwick access to the child a physical confrontation ensued.
Crystal Knott-Fenwick was arrested, charged with Second-Degree Assault and released the custody of the St. Mary’s County Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
