UPPER MARLBORO, Md. – The Office of the Sheriff’s Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of Danny Junier Aguilar Peralta on June 17, 2021, on a warrant for First Degree Assault obtained by deputies on May 30, 2021.

According to the warrant, on May 30th, deputies assigned to the Domestic Violence Intervention Division (DVID) responded to the 9300 Block of D’Arcy Rd, in Upper Marlboro, MD, for a domestic violence call. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with a victim, who reported having a verbal altercation that turned physical with Aguilar Peralta. Aguilar Peralta is alleged to have hit the victim in the face before placing his hands around their throat, attempting to strangle them, causing physical injuries. Aguilar Peralta fled before deputies arrived.  

On June 17th, deputies determined that Aguilar Peralta could be located at an address in the 9300 Block of D’Arcy Rd. When deputies knocked on the door, a resident answered, allowing them to enter the home. Once inside, Aguilar Peralta was identified in a bedroom where he was served the warrant, placed into custody, and safely transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections without incident.

Aguilar Peralta is also charged with Second-Degree Assault.
