On January 3, Charles County Sheriff’s detectives arrested Calvin Theo Payne, 47 of Va., in connection with the thefts of multiple carry on trailers.
The trailers were stolen from a plant in Montross, Va., in early December and later recovered in Charles County. After a month long joint investigation with police in Westmoreland County, Va., Payne was arrested after trying to sell the trailers to another person.
Payne was charged with unauthorized removal of property and theft over $1,000.
