Alonzo Gregory Anderson
Waldorf, MD – On Oct. 10 at 9:30 a.m., officers assigned to the Charles County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Enforcement Team and Emergency Services Team served a search warrant in the 1000 block of St. Paul’s Drive in Waldorf. During the search, a large amount of packaging materials, scales, marijuana, U.S. currency and a loaded 9mm handgun with an obliterated serial number were recovered. Alonzo Gregory Anderson, 21, of Waldorf was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute and illegal possession of a firearm.
According to court records, Anderson was released on $10,000 bond. A hearing on the charges is tentatively scheduled for Oct. 31 in District Court.
