The Disabled American Veterans (DAV), a nationally known, well-respected Veterans Services Organization, will be providing a national service officer to assist veterans in understanding their rights, benefits and services in Southern Maryland next month.

Veterans are encouraged to attend one of these sessions.ย  If available, Veterans are encouraged to bring their DD-214, a Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty.ย  Veterans who are unable to locate their DD-214 may want to visit the EVetRecs website at http://www.archives.gov/veterans/evetrecs/index.html to request a copy of this important record electronically or via regular mail.ย
