Leonardtown, Md. – Starting June 1st, the Leonardtown Public Library will be offering free college preparation workshops, open to all high school students and their families.
In partnership with St. Mary’s College of Maryland, the Maryland-DC Campus Compact, and AmeriCorps VISTA, these workshops will run the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of June, July, and August from 6 to 7:30pm. Topics will include:
- How to find the best fitting college
- Paying for college
- Choosing a major
- Writing your college admissions essay
