
INDIAN HEAD, Md. — A domestic dispute in Indian Head ended with a man hospitalized after he was struck by a car during an altercation Sunday evening.
Deputies and emergency medical personnel responded to Doncaster Drive around 7:15 p.m. on Oct. 12, 2025, for a reported vehicle-pedestrian incident. Initial reports indicated the situation began as a fight between two people before escalating.
According to the 911 call, the woman involved told authorities she was dragged into nearby woods during the argument and struck the man with her vehicle after escaping. Responders found the man injured but conscious and alert in the roadway.
He was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The woman was evaluated at the scene and declined further medical care.
Authorities cleared the scene around 10 p.m. No arrests had been publicly announced as of Monday morning, and investigators have not yet released details on potential charges.
The case remains under investigation by the Charles County Sheriff’s Office.
