On Jan. 12, St. Mary’s County deputies responded to the residence on Birch Manor Drive in Mechanicsville, for a report of a domestic assault. Investigation revealed Mary Lou Frost, 51 of Mechanicsville, was involved in a verbal dispute with the victim. The dispute became physical when Frost scratched the victim in the chest and on the cheek.
Frost was arrested and charged with second-degree assault.
