On April 24, deputies responded to a residence on Leesa Court in Lexington Park, for a domestic assault in progress.
Investigation revealed John William Carey, 21 of Lexington Park, was engaged in a verbal dispute with the victim which turned physical when Carey grabbed the victim by the arms.
Carey was arrested and charged with second-degree assault.
