Kelly M. Branson andย Nicholas A. Apostle
Prince Frederick, MD – On March 25, Deputy Williamson responded to a call from St. Paulโs Church in Prince Frederick for the report of a theft. Upon arrival, it was discovered that the wooden donation box had been stolen two days prior.
Upon watching the video, one man and one woman were seen standing near the box. After 15 minutes, the woman tried to lift the box, but was unable. The man then picked it up, and they both quickly exited the church.
Upon showing the video to the rest of the staff at the church, one staff member was able to identify them as Kelly Melissa Branson, 27 of North Beach, and Nicholas Arthur Apostle, 28 of Lusby.
The donation box was valued at $850, and the contents inside were valued at $250.
Both were charged with theft $1,000 to under $10,000 and malicious destruction of property. Both defendants have a hearing in District Court tentatively scheduled for July 15.
