People with pets love them like children and spouses. I’ve been accused of snuggling with my cats more than my wife. She’s even asked how come I don’t talk sweet to her like I do my animals. I have a different relation with them. Haha.
Like any pet, they give us unconditional love and don’t “nag” us or decide they need some space. More reasons to be kind to them; adopt more strays and encourage stronger laws against animal cruelty.
When you come home your pets have missed you. With dogs it doesn’t matter if you came home from work or even if you came back from getting the mail. They come to greet you and make noises of excitement like you’ve been dog-gone forever. They roll around and squirm they’re so happy. I have yet to see my wife do that. They do truly love us.
Aren’t there shirts they say “Dogs are better than men?” I guess women are on to us after all.
Animals have been proven to extend the life of the elderly as it provides companionship, purpose and love. Some pets have even saved their owners’ lives. Isn’t it time we did a little something for them like something cool and outrageously different?
