At 1:20 am, on Saturday, March 24, TFC Linger responded to the “Drag ‘N’ Inn” in Charlotte Hall for a reported disturbance. Upon arrival, contact was made with John Rudolph Jones, 32, of Mechanicsville and an odor of an alcoholic beverage was emitting from his breath.
During the course of the investigation, Mr. Jones continued to be disorderly and was subsequently arrested for disorderly conduct, public intoxication, resisting arrest and trespassing.
After being placed in the patrol vehicle, Mr. Jones began kicking the dashboard of TFC Linger’s car and subsequently shattered the windshield of the vehicle. He was additionally charged with Malicious Destruction of Property.
He was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held pending a bond review.
