At 9:20 p.m. Aug. 4, Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to the 2200 block of Davis Road in Waldorf for the report of a motor vehicle crash.
Investigation revealed Tracey Ann Thompson, 22, of Waldorf was traveling east on Davis Road when she lost control of the vehicle and struck a telephone pole.
Thompson sustained incapacitating but non-life-threatening injuries and was flown by a Maryland State Police helicopter to Prince George’s Hospital Center.
Her passenger, William Marcellus Woodland, 38, of Waldorf was transported by ambulance to Civista Medical Center with incapacitating but non-life-threatening injuries.
