Trooper E. Page arrested Adrian Cordrell Gray, 18, of Lexington Park, at 2:40 p.m. March 6, for possession of Marijuana, fleeing and eluding and failing to remain at the scene of a motor vehicle accident.
Trooper Page observed Gray operating a white Toyota Tacoma on Route 235 in the area of the Wildewood Shopping Center, and he attempted to stop the vehicle for an equipment violation.
The vehicle attempted to elude the officer by turning into the Wildewood Shopping Center. After a brief pursuit, Gray exited the vehicle and began to flee on foot when he was caught in the area of the Outback Steak House.
He was arrested for fleeing and eluding and leaving the scene of an accident after the vehicle he was driving struck a parked car after he fled on foot.
A search incident to arrest revealed Gray was in possession of a small plastic bag of Marijuana and he was charged accordingly and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was detained pending a bond review.
