On Sunday, Feb. 8 around 9:50 p.m., rescue crews from Ridge, Patuxent River Naval Air Station and Lexington Park were dispatched to a personal injury accident in St. James on Bay Forest Road.
Crews arrived on the scene to find a single vehicle with two patients inside that had wrecked in a driveway, hitting a nearby tree.
A 38-year-old female was transported to PG Hospital by Trooper 7 as a result of her injuries and her previous medical history. The second patient was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.
No word on what caused the crash.
This accident remains under investigation.
