On March 1, St. Mary’s County Cpl. Logalbo responded to a disturbance/trespassing complaint at Ridge Elementary School in Ridge.
Investigation revealed Darrell Duane Jones, Jr., 31 of Lexington Park, entered the school and disrupted a Girl Scouts meeting. Jones did not have a daughter in the meeting and had no legal business entering the Girl Scouts meeting. Jones was asked to leave the meeting and initially complied but returned a short time later, smelling of alcohol.
Jones startled and frightened the Girls Scouts with is disruptive behavior.
Jones was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and disorderly intoxication on school property.
