motor vehicle accident in southern maryland

WALDORF, Md. — Emergency crews responded early Wednesday morning to a two-vehicle collision that left two people injured at the intersection of Berry Road and Greenwood Drive.

First responders were dispatched at approximately 6:30 a.m. on April 16, 2025, to the scene of the crash, where they found two vehicles with reported injuries. Fire and EMS personnel arrived on scene shortly after and requested additional support due to the nature of the incident.

One adult male patient was transported with trauma-related injuries to UM Capital Region Medical Center, while another adult male was taken to UM Charles Regional Medical Center for treatment.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
