
LEONARDTOWN, Md. — Young swimmers looking to sharpen their skills can dive into a new season of swim lessons at the St. Mary’s County Wellness and Aquatics Center, where early registration for Session 4 is now underway for current participants.
Students enrolled in Session 3 Learn-to-Swim classes have the first opportunity to reserve their spots and continue progressing through the center’s popular swim instruction program. Open registration for new students will begin at 9 a.m. on Monday, April 28, according to St. Mary’s County Recreation and Parks officials.
The Learn-to-Swim program, hosted at the Wellness and Aquatics Center at the College of Southern Maryland’s Leonardtown campus, offers structured lessons designed for a variety of ages and experience levels. Certified instructors lead classes that emphasize water safety, basic techniques, and skill-building for future confident swimmers.
