At 9:08 pm, on March 17, Charles County Sheriff’s officers observed a suspicious vehicle parked at the Sheffield Community Center located at 4658 Sheffield Circle in Waldorf.
Officers approached the vehicle, which was occupied by four individuals, and detected the odor of alcohol. All occupants of the car were under 21 years old.
A search of the vehicle revealed suspected ecstasy in a driver’s compartment. The driver, a 17-year-old Waldorf girl, was arrested and charged with possession of ecstasy.
She was charged as a juvenile and released to a parent. Officer C. Caldwell investigated.
