RIDGE, Md. — Two people were hospitalized Thursday evening, Aug. 28, 2025, after a rear-end collision in Ridge that left both vehicles damaged.

The crash occurred around 7:45 p.m. at the intersection of Three Notch Road and Point Lookout Road. Emergency personnel arrived to find a white Ford SUV towing a trailer struck from behind by a Mazda sedan. The SUV’s rear was crushed, and the Nissan sustained extensive front-end damage.

Emergency medical personnel evaluated both occupants at the scene before transporting them to MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital. Their injuries were not considered life-threatening.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
