LA PLATA, Md. — Two people were injured Saturday night in a two-vehicle collision in La Plata.
Emergency crews were dispatched at approximately 8:45 p.m. on Feb. 14, 2026, to the intersection of Charles Street and Spring Hill Court after receiving an automated crash alert. Initial attempts to contact the reporting party were unsuccessful, but a subsequent caller advised that two elderly individuals were reported to be seriously injured.
EMS evaluated a total of four patients on the scene and transported two by ground to UM Charles Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The crash remains under investigation.
