Bomb technicians with the Office of the State Fire Marshal were called by the Charles County Sheriff’s Office early Thursday afternoon to the 6600 block of Coyote Ct in the Waldorf area of Charles County.
Deputy Sheriffs who had responded to the residence earlier for a disorderly person discovered chemicals and suspected components used in the construction of explosive devices in the room of 18-year-old Augustin Francis Tellez.
Bomb Technicians preformed a thorough search of the home and recovered suspected explosive chemicals along with components used in the manufacture of explosive devices. The operation caused no disruption in the neighborhood.
Samples of the chemicals will be submitted for laboratory analysis. Charges are pending.
