LUSBY, Md. — A Lusby woman is being held without bond after Maryland State Police arrested her on a fugitive warrant tied to criminal charges filed in Pennsylvania, according to court records.
The defendant, Alice Laura Marshall, 33, of Lusby, was taken into custody on Dec. 16, 2025, by a Maryland State Police trooper assigned to Barrack U in Prince Frederick. Authorities charged Marshall as a fugitive from justice, alleging she is wanted by Pennsylvania law enforcement.
Court documents indicate Pennsylvania authorities issued the warrant in connection with statutory sexual assault charges involving a minor and formally requested Marshall’s extradition. Records show Marshall was advised of her rights, including the right to contest extradition, and was ordered held pending further proceedings.
A bond review hearing was held Dec. 17, 2025, in Calvert County District Court, where a judge ordered Marshall to remain held without bond. Fugitive hearing scheduled for Jan. 16, 2026, in Calvert County District Court.
The arrest was handled by Maryland State Police. The case remains active as extradition proceedings continue.
