CALIFORNIA, Md. — Chick-fil-A First Colony Center is giving back to the community with a sweet fundraiser to support the new playground at Cove Point Park.
From Feb. 23 through Feb. 28, 2026, 50% of all heart-shaped cookie tray sales at the First Colony Center location will be donated to the Cove Point Park Playground Build, set to take place in spring 2026.
Each tray includes six cookies and comes “beautifully package and ready to gift,” making them a fitting treat for friends, family, teachers and coworkers. The promotion is exclusive to the Chick-fil-A First Colony Center restaurant, located at 45150 First Colony Way in California.
“Every cookie helps build a better place for kids to play – so grab a treat and make an impact!” states a Chick-fil-A flyer promoting the fundraiser.
A Chick-fil-A representative shared the restaurant’s enthusiasm for supporting the effort.
“Chick-fil-A First Colony Center is grateful to be part of such a strong and caring community. We love finding meaningful ways to support our neighbors, and we’re excited that 50% of all Heart-Shaped Cookie Tray sales will go toward building the new playground for local families to enjoy,” a representative told The BayNet.
Organizers say the new playground at Cove Point Park will be modern and eco-friendly, providing a refreshed space for children and families to gather and play.
Community members can support the initiative by purchasing a heart-shaped cookie tray during the promotional period. With each purchase, customers will help fund the construction of the new playground at Cove Point Park.
Additional details about the playground project are expected to be released in the coming weeks.
